Weston Roundtable - Todd Radenbaugh

Rural Alaska, once a collection of small isolated towns is now experiencing rapid environmental change. Its remoteness and the low human population density no longer insulates it from many of the acute global environmental issues. But Alaska still has sustainable and healthy ecosystems in terms of services provided to culture. We learn from the foundation species such as salmon--“Leave them alone so they will come home.” Such lessons are relation-based rather than consumption-based.
