DESCRIPTION:Our energy transition is a time of adaption and transformation\
, and the disability community holds immense wisdom on living in\, and wit
h\, change. Join us for a panel discussion exploring the intersections ene
rgy\, disability\, and climate justice.. As storms fueled by climate chang
e surge and aging infrastructure leads to more frequent power outages\, di
sabled people face disproportionate risk to the impacts of climate change.
At the same time\, people with disabilities spend a higher percentage of
their income on energy than non-disabled people\, exposing intersecting sy
stemic injustices.\n\nJoin us on to explore these intersecting structural
discrepancies and learn about solutions steaming from disabled leaders.\n\
