DESCRIPTION:*Note: actual end time may vary.* \n April 7 – 12. Reception
 : Friday\, April 10\, 5-8pm. A multi-layered memorial exhibition\, where t
 he&nbsp\;personal becomes political\,&nbsp\;& where&nbsp\;trauma is not na
rrated\,&nbsp\;but&nbsp\;felt. Blood is woven into the collective identiti
es of anyone who fights against the prescribed identity given by the gover
nment in Iran. However\, for decades\, Iranian women have met that violenc
 e with courage\, defiance\, & perseverance\, resisting oppression & fighti
ng for dignity\, identity\, & freedom\, even in the risk of arrest\, tortu
 re\, & death.\n\nCONTACT: 262-1660\, artfrontdesk@education.wisc.edu\n\nUR
