DESCRIPTION:Overview The Hybrid Wilderness First Responder Recertification 
 (WFRR) course is a 24-hour course taught by NOLS. The WFRR course is desig
 ned to update and recertify your skills in making critical medical and eva
 cuation decisions in remote locations.&nbsp\; Hands-on\, meet online. Enjo
 y a newly formatted Hybrid Wilderness First Responder Recertification\, wh
 ich includes an online component in addition to the traditional scenarios 
 and skills! Pre-work allows you to review the curriculum at your own pace\
 , and focus on the hands-on element during your two days on course. You’
 ll just need to complete all online components\, including a written exam\
 , prior to the course. You’ll learn both in the classroom and in outdoor
  settings regardless of weather\, so come prepared for wet\, muddy\, cold 
 or hot environments! Hold a current Wilderness First Responder Certificati
 on or be in your certification's grace period. You must be 16 years old to
  attend this course. Certification Participants are required to pass both 
 written and practical examinations to obtain WFR and CPR recertification. 
 Successful course completion earns you a WMI Adult & Child CPR certificati
 on and a WMI Wilderness First Responder certification. EMTs are eligible f
 or 18 hours of continuing education (CEUs). All certifications are current
  for two years. Location Primary classroom will be held at Memorial Union 
 in Madison\, WI-800 Langdon Street. We are not able to offer housing or ca
 mping for this course. There are hotels and hostels available nearby. Food
  is not provided\, but is available for purchase in the building and at ne
 arby locations to Memorial Union. There is a refrigerator and microwave to
