 son will be speaking on UCLA’s Biomedical Library\, which recently start
 ed building a collection of 19th to 21st century baby record books. These 
 are memory books in which parents record a child’s activities and develo
 pmental milestones\, and which provide a place to gather photographs\, loc
 ks of hair\, first teeth and other mementos. Many books track individualiz
 ed medical information—from height and weight to various childhood disea
