Performing Ourselves Spring Showcase

Performing Ourselves is a dance outreach project based in Madison, WI. The program combines dance education, dance/movement therapy principles and performance to empower low-income girls in the areas of embodiment, self-concept and resiliency. Performing Ourselves began with a pilot program in 2011 and continues to grow in numbers and scope each year.
