The Wisconsin Flute Festival is a one-day educational event for flute players and enthusiasts of all ages and abilities. Founded by the Madison Flute Club in 2004, the festival travels around the state of Wisconsin from year to year. Lorna McGhee, principal flute of Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, will lead a masterclass and present a free evening concert. Sessions will cover a wide variety of topics, workshops, performance opportunities, competitions, along with vendors of fine flutes.
