Description
Scottish-born Lorna McGhee is the principal flute of the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and a member of the flute faculty at Carnegie Mellon University. Known for her “exceptionally rich and vibrant tone,” McGhee has performed and recorded extensively. In this free concert, McGhee will present a varied program with the theme of "Landscapes and Love Songs." Presented by Madison Flute Club and the UW-Madison Flute Studio.
