Wednesday Nite @ The Lab

The Thorne lab takes a multidisciplinary approach to drug delivery to the brain that spans pharmaceutics, neuroscience, biophysics, engineering & structural biology. Prof. Thorne will provide an overview of the brain, the highly specialized barriers that guard it from blood-borne molecules, and recent research into how we might overcome the brain’s many defenses to develop better drugs to treat neurological disorders.
