Description
Join Dr. Jeff Behm of UW-Oshkosh and the Charles E. Brown chapter of the Wisconsin Archeological Society for an exploration of the archaeology of the Lake Winneconne area. Excavations at the Lake Winneconne Park site have identified a series of villages occupied between AD 700 and 1650, with tantalizing hints that the site also records the early years of European contact with the Native American residents of the region.
