The Center for Visual Cultures has invited Tavia Nyong'o, Professor of African American Studies, American Studies, and Theater Studies at Yale University, to lead a workshop related to his book chapter "Habeas Ficta: Fictive Ethnicity, Affecting Representations, and Slaves on Screen."
