CHINA’S SUCCESS has made its economy and polity so complex that continued success requires transformation. Harvard University’s William Overholt will describe how China is struggling with a needed transition, though Western views of this process are frequently both strong and wrong. Dr. Overholt (PhD Yale 1972) is a Senior Research Fellow at Harvard’s Center for Business & Government. His career includes 16 years doing policy research at think tanks, 10 at Harvard, and 21 in investment banking
