Description
Apocalyptic narratives are tempting. They can quickly catch the attention of many and force an ignored issue into the spotlight overnight. But they also tend to inspire paralysis and rely on anti-democratic reasoning. This talk examines how Spanish novels written in the wake of the Great Recession (2008-) have overcome apocalyptic arguments about climate change.
