Cutting the Child Poverty Rate by Half: A Report from the National Academies

This webinar is based on the recently-released report, "A Roadmap to Reducing Child Poverty," and features two of the report’s authors, Hilary Hoynes and Robert Moffitt. Hoynes and Moffitt will review the research on the linkages between child poverty and child well-being, give an overview of the effectiveness of current assistance programs, and discuss policy and program recommendations that could reduce the number of children in poverty in the United States by half within 10 years.
