					Description

The passage of state-based youth sports concussion laws across the country were established to provide protections for student-athletes, prevent catastrophic outcomes, and mitigate short- and long-term effects. However, efforts aimed at implementation have uncovered various challenges in concussion education, diagnosis and management. This presentation will discuss those challenges and offer the opportunity for discussion regarding the role of policy in youth sports.
