Join renowned spoken word and recording artist and activist Ursula Rucker in an engaging conversation led by Marc Bamuthi Joseph. Ursula will perform a few of her incredible and powerful poems and discuss her artistic work.

Ursula is a guest artist for Michele Byrd-McPhee’s fall UW-Madison Division of the Arts Interdisciplinary Arts Residency Program. Bamuthi was UW-Madison’s interdisciplinary artist in the fall of 2007.
