Spring 2023 Art Department Art Faculty Colloquium

Elaine Scheer is a storyteller. Her often-humorous watercolors introduce us to her family, and events that have happened from before she was born to the present. She has been at the University of Wisconsin-Madison since she was hired in 1988 as a lecturer in ceramics. She grew up in Los Angeles and went to school at Sonoma State University and the San Francisco Art Institute. You can find her watercolors on Instagram @elainescheer
