Description
This one-day symposium brings together scholars working on the cutting edge of French ecocriticism. Speakers will include Joshua Armstrong (Department of French & Italian, UW-Madison), Lucas Hollister (Dartmouth College), Stéphanie Posthumus (McGill University), Gina Stamm (University of Alabama). Each speaker will give a 20-minute presentation responding to Armstrong's book project in progress and on the general theme of “encountering the non-human in contemporary French and Francophone.”
