Description
Sheetla, a forthcoming experimental documentary that traces the contentious histories that have shaped the historic city of Faizabad, India, through the life of its witness, the late Sheetla Singh. A prominent editor and journalist—and also the director's granduncle—Sheetla Singh led the defiant Hindi-language daily Jan Morcha for nearly 50 years until his passing in May of 2023.
