Description
The Chican@ & Latin@ Studies Program's final "Latinx Art in Protest" panel features influential Chicanx and Latinx artists Dewey Tafoya and Malaquias Montoya. The panelists will discuss of the evolution of art in Chicanx and Latinx Social Movements, Culture, and History and their positionality within this history. They will also examine the role of art in building just futures. The event is supported by the Anonymous Fund and several departments.
