This lecture on civil rights activism and agriculture will feature the Paris Family - prominent civil rights movement leaders. Hear from the family and Dr. Monica White on social movement activism across the lifespan, intergenerational activism, and how agriculture was used as a strategy of resistance and resilience. Lecture begins at 5:00 p.m., with a reception and light refreshments to follow.
