This talk presents an overview of ongoing research into the production of polychrome ceramics at the site of Tiwanaku, circa AD 500-800. Located in what is now western Bolivia, within the southern Lake Titicaca Basin, Tiwanaku was the largest city in the Andes between the sixth and eleventh centuries AD.
