Ben Rodenkirch, AOS graduate student, will defend his PhD thesis that highlights rare, coincident near-storm measurements from modern-day, regionally diverse airborne tropical oceanic convection (TOC) field campaigns supplemented with idealized numerical modeling to provide an extensive interregional evaluation of local moisture and wind shear relationships with TOC.
