Description
At this annual spring workshop, students will present profiles of early UW-Madison students who came from or worked in China. The profiles will be presented within the context of a 19th century debate among Chinese educators over the value of student and cultural exchanges. Profiles will include our first degree recipients from China, our first female Chinese students, and a Wisconsin native who led famine and wartime relief programs in China
