Description
Puerto Rican percussionist and educator Beto Torrens will join artists from Bembé Drum & Dance, a Milwaukee-based cultural arts organization centered on Afro-Latino musical traditions. Through conversation and live performance, the program will explore the history, rhythms, and communal practices of Afro-Puerto Rican bomba through drumming, song, and dance.
