Presented by Alice Schreyer, director of the Special Collections Research Center and assistant director for preservation and special collections at the University of Chicago Library. Dr. Schreyer’s talk, “Design for Learning: A 21st Century Research Library,” will focus on the new Joe and Rika Mansueto Library at the University of Chicago and the concurrent renovation of the Special Collections Research Center, both expected to be completed in spring 2011.
