Nellie Y. McKay Lecture in the Humanities

Thadious M. Davis is Geraldine R. Segal Professor of American Social Thought and Professor of English, both at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a scholar of African-American literature and Southern literature, history, and visual culture, with an emphasis on issues of race, region, and gender.
