Faculty Concert Series

The Pro Arte Quartet celebrates its centennial with four new works, lectures by prominent critics and commentators, master classes and open rehearsals. This second concert features the premiere of Three Rhapsodies for Piano Quintet by Paul Schoenfield; String Quartet No. 4 in D major, Op. 83 by Shostakovich; and String Quartet in C-sharp minor, Op. 131 by Beethoven. Schoenfield and public radio host Bill McGlaughlin ("Exploring Music") will hold a pre-concert conversation from 7-7:30 p.m.
