7th Annual Passing the Mic Spoken Word Series

The second night of the series features Robbie Q. Telfer and Shanny Jean Maney with special guest cartoonist Lynda Barry and other surprise guests. Telfer is currently the director of performances for Young Chicago Authors, a nonprofit group that gives creative writing, performance and mentorship opportunities to Chicago teens. Maney, a performance poet and teacher, co-founded The Encyclopedia Show in 2008.
