								Presented by Dr. Marsha Wolf of the UW-Madison Astronomy Department. UW-Madison astronomers are building a sophisticated new instrument that will allow our Southern African Large Telescope (SALT) to obtain images and spectra in the infrared part of the spectrum, which will be a huge expansion in the scientific power of SALT. Marsha Wolf heads the instrument development team and will tell us about their work.
