Description
Doctors Arash and Kamiar Alaei are physician experts in HIV/AIDS and International Health and Human Rights. They co-founded "Triangular Clinic" for HIV/AIDS patients in Iran. They were imprisoned for attending international AIDS conferences and spent over two years in prison. They were released in 2011 because of a human rights campaign on their behalf. Their project, considered the "Best practice model” by WHO, has been extended to other countries including Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
