Week seven: Dr. Marcella Runell Hall, professor and director of the Center for Academic and Spiritual Life at NYU, will lecture on “Promising Practices for Utilizing a Social Justice Hip Hop Pedagogy: Notes from the Real World.” This year's series will again focus on how hip-hop culture can provide innovative approaches to help bridge the achievement gap with new strategies to reach historically underserved students.
