Paolo Desiati of the Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center will show us how a device designed to detect neutrinos is also an instrument for insight into one of the enduring mysteries of astrophysics: the nature & origin of cosmic rays. IceCube is also great for insights into the nature of science and interdisciplinary research. Come explore cosmic rays and other strange things that permeate the dark, on the eve of the eve of All Hallow's Day.
