The rapid advances in compound semiconductor heterostructures technologies have resulted in significant impacts in the fields of electronics, communications, energy, and medical technologies. The engineering of heterostuctures in semiconductors is important for enabling the control of both electronics and optoelectronics properties in compound semiconductor heterojunctions.
