Description
Dr. Weismantel is a Professor in the Department of Anthropology at Northwestern University and the Director of the Program of Gender and Sexualities Studies. Her research focuses on Andean South America, particularly on issues of racial conflict, materiality, and forms of inequality including gender, sexuality, and class. Co-sponsored by LACIS' NAVE Fund, LACIS, Dept. of Anthropology, Art History and Gender and Women's Studies at UW-Madison.
