Description
Professor Pablo Blitstein of the University of Heidelberg will discuss various Chinese "reformers" who traveled in North and South America in the early 1900s and the impact those travels had on shaping their ideas about politics and reform in China. Prof. Blitstein, who has studied in Buenos Aires and Paris, is interested in how literature, writing and social experiences shape the political imagination. Free cookies and punch will be served!
