Event Details

Time

Location

Description
This lecture discusses the Equal Oppressions Paradigm, which posits that every source of oppression is equal to others in its severity, frequency, and production of human degradation.
Although seemingly progressive, the paradigm may be reinforcing its own brand of inequality. This talk will demonstrate the paradigm’s contradictions for advancing the 21st century agenda of social justice, and will highlight the implications for social work.
