Time Well Spent: Exploring Our Special Connection with Animals

Professor Philip Tedeschi researches the social neurobiology of human-animal connection. His lecture will cover the many ways that animals & people intersect and influence each other. The presence of animals stimulates communication with individuals who are socially marginalized, isolated or no longer trust relationships, and can decrease the debilitating impacts of trauma and stress-related conditions.
