Cheap: Queer Visual Culture, Salvage, and Reuse

This event will feature a public dialogue between two leading scholars in queer visual culture studies, David Getsy and Ramzi Fawaz, whose recent books explore the uses of throwaway or disposable cultural forms to articulate alternative expressions of sexuality and gender in contemporary U.S. culture.
