Pleasure Bike Ride through the Preserve

Join Daniel Einstein, campus historic and cultural resources manager, as we re-trace a segment of the road network created by the Madison Park and Pleasure Drive Association. We will ride our bicycles from Willow Creek Bridge to the Shorewood Hills Beach (~ 2.5 miles). Along the way we will make stops at the Tent Colony, Raymer’s Cove, the Daisy Field, Eagle Heights Mounds and the “rustic bridge” in Shorewood Hills as we learn about the MPPDA--the forerunner of the Madison parks division.
