Join the CREECA Fall Lecture Series in welcoming Professor David Darrow from the University of Dayton, Ohio as he gives a lecture discussing the collapse of the Russian Empire in 1917 in terms of the relationship between peasants and the institution of property from the serf Emancipation of 1861 into the period of the so-called Stolypin reforms undertaken from 1906 until 1917. Co-sponsored by the History Department and the Alice D. Mortenson/Petrovich Chair in Russian History.
