Description
Professor Harry M. Jol from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire will outline details and results of a multi-disciplinary research project in Vilnius, Lithuania, in which researchers sought and located the remains of The Great Synagogue and Shulhoyft of Vilna which was destroyed after WWII. Co-sponsored by the Center for Jewish Studies and Madison-Vilnius Sister Cities, Inc; presented by CREECA as the annual “Perspectives on the Baltics” lecture, thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor.
