A public lecture by Betsey Stevenson, professor of public policy and economics at the Univ of Michigan. Stevenson was Chief Economist of the Dept of Labor under President Obama and a member of his Council of Economic Advisers. She is well known for her work on public policy and labor issues affecting families. She is sponsored for this lecture by the Dept of Economics and Women in Economics.
