The Globe/Global in Shakespeare's Time

This exhibit, celebrating the visit to the Chazen of a Shakespeare First Folio, situates Shakespeare’s work in a larger context—16th-17th century ideas about the globe and global. It features natural history and exploration titles from Special Collections holdings, our copy of the Second Folio of Shakespeare’s plays, a copy of the Third Folio lent by Loras College Library, Dubuque, Iowa, and a second Second Folio and a Fourth Folio lent by Special Collections, UW-Milwaukee Libraries.
