Description
Perceptual experience is a relation between the subject and the external environment. In perception there’s not just the external objects, but the ‘ways’ in which they are given to the subject. These ‘modes of presentation’ of objects must be internal to the subject. There is no need for the case of our perception of ordinary objects. There is a nasty problem to characterize the modes of presentation of space and spatial locations.
