Kimberly Huber, PhD - The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
About the Speaker: Dr. Huber obtained her Ph.D. in neurobiology from The University of Texas Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences where she studied the neurobiological mechanisms of learning and memory. She performed her postdoc training at the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and Brown University where she discovered mechanisms of synaptic plasticity and alterations in synaptic plasticity in a fragile x mouse model.
