Description
Dance scholar Janice Ross will present her research on dance pioneer Margaret H’Doubler. Ross is a Professor in the Theatre and Performance Studies Department at Stanford University. She is the author of four books including Like A Bomb Going Off: Leonid Yakobson and Ballet as Resistance in Soviet Russia (2015), Anna Halprin: Experience as Dance, (2007), San Francisco Ballet at 75 (2007) and Moving Lessons: Margaret H’Doubler and The Beginning of Dance in American Education (2001).
