La cineteca italiana-Weekly Italian Film Screenings

This week Cineteca is screening "L'oro di Napoli", an anthology of stories that act as a tribute to Naples, Italy directed by Vittorio De Sica. The humorous yet heartfelt tales include the story of a pizza seller who loses her wedding ring; a gambler who is routinely beaten by a kid at cards; and the wedding of a prostitute named Teresa. Other tales include a clown who is subjected to ridicule by a gang of criminals and the events surrounding the funeral of a small child.
