Description
Haiti’s 2010 earthquake decimated several cities—but it also gave birth to new one. In less than five years, an incredible 200,000 people have moved to a desolate stretch of land north of Port-au-Prince. They call it Canaan. What can Haitians teach us about post-disaster, grassroots urbanism? He’ll be joined by Augustin Mona, a Haitian musical artist who led a community of people displaced by the earthquake to Canaan.
