The 50th Wisconsin Workshop is a celebratory event to honor two senior emeriti of the German program, Prof. Jost Hermand, and Prof. Klaus Berghahn. Speakers will address not only media such as film, photography, theater, and literature but also themes such as environmentalism, migration, populism, solidarity, utopia, among others. The conference defines some connections between the traditions established by Hermand and Berghahn and the future visions we share.
